Rejuvenate without Losing Your Essence

Over the years, it’s not just the skin that gives way, but the internal structures that provide support to the face. Modern Facial Lifting is not about aggressively “stretching” the skin, but about repositioning the muscles and deep tissues to their original place. My goal is to restore freshness to your features and define the contour of your jawline and neck, achieving an elegant result where you look renewed, not transformed.

What is the procedure like?

We analyze the structure of your face and the degree of sagging in the cheeks and neck. We design the incisions so that they remain strategically hidden within the natural contours of the ear and the hairline.

In the operating room, we don’t just work on the surface. We lift and tighten the SMAS (Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System) to provide long-lasting, structural support to the face.

Once the internal tissues are repositioned, we drape the excess skin without excessive tension. This is key to avoiding a “windblown” or “stretched” look and ensuring that your expression remains uniquely yours.

We use ultra-fine sutures and precision plastic surgery techniques so that the scars are virtually imperceptible once they mature.

Recommendations for Your Well-being

Before surgery:

If you suffer from hypertension, it must be fully controlled, as high blood pressure increases the risk of hematomas.

We recommend washing your hair with an antiseptic shampoo the day before and not dyeing it during the week prior to surgery.

Inform about the consumption of anticoagulants and aspirin, and discontinue supplements such as Omega 3, Vitamin E, Garlic, and Ginkgo biloba 15 days prior to avoid excessive bruising.

After surgery:

You will likely need to wear a soft chin strap for the first few days to help define the neck and reduce swelling.

Direct sun exposure on the face is prohibited during the first month to avoid staining the scars and bruises.

Avoid sudden movements or turning your head forcefully during the first 2 weeks to avoid straining the sutures.

You will be able to apply light makeup again once the stitches are removed (usually after 10 to 14 days), depending on medical instructions.
