Gaze Rejuvenation

An integral approach to eliminate the appearance of fatigue. We combine eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) with a brow lift to restore light to your eyes and achieve a fresh, rested expression.

Frescura y Luz

A Gaze that Reflects Your Energy

The eyes are the first thing we notice when we communicate. Over time, drooping eyebrows or excess skin on the eyelids can give you a sad or exhausted appearance that doesn’t match how you truly feel. This procedure does not aim to change the shape of your eyes, but rather to clear your gaze. By repositioning the brows and treating the eyelids, we “open up” the frame of your face so that you look more awake, vital, and naturally rejuvenated.

How is the procedure performed?

We evaluate whether your “tired look” is due to fat pads, excess skin, or a drooping brow. We design a plan that may include upper or lower blepharoplasty and/or brow pexy (lift).

We subtly lift the tail of the eyebrow to clear your gaze and refresh the upper third of your face. Simultaneously, we treat excess skin and fat pads, leaving a barely perceptible scar.

We treat the lower “bags” to eliminate the puffy appearance; if necessary, we remove excess skin to restore light and a rested look to your eyes.

It is an outpatient surgery. You will leave with very discreet protective tapes. Swelling is normal during the first few days, but visual recovery is fast.

Recommendations for your well-being

Before surgery:

If you use eye drops for dry eyes or have any ophthalmological conditions, please inform us in advance.

Come to surgery with a completely clean face, with no trace of makeup or false eyelashes.

Report the use of anticoagulants and discontinue supplements such as Omega-3, Vitamin E, Garlic, and Ginkgo biloba 15 days prior to avoid excessive bruising.

After surgery:

Apply cold compresses (indirect ice) constantly during the first 48 hours is the key to reducing swelling quickly.

Wear dark sunglasses when going out during the first month to protect sensitive skin and prevent the sun from darkening bruises.

Use the ophthalmic drops (artificial tears) that we will prescribe to prevent eye dryness.

Sleep with your head elevated (two or three pillows) during the first nights to reduce eyelid swelling in the morning.
