How is the procedure?
We protect your eyes with special goggles, as safety comes first. We calibrate the equipment according to your skin phototype and the objective.
We adjust the exact wavelength for your issue. If we are treating spots, the light pulverizes the pigment without burning the skin; if it is rejuvenation, we use a gentle thermal mode that stimulates collagen and reduces inflammation. The laser acts only where we need it.
It is normal to feel a slight “snap” or heat with each pulse. We use cooling systems to make the session comfortable and tolerable.
Upon finishing, the skin may remain slightly reddened (flash effect), but this disappears in a few hours. We apply sunscreen and you can resume your routine immediately.
Recommendations for your well-being
Before surgery:
As with other lasers, avoid direct sun exposure 2 weeks before to reduce the risk of spots.
Do not apply self-tanning creams or heavy-duty makeup on the day of the appointment.
After surgery:
It is essential to use SPF 50+ sunscreen every 4 hours during the following days, as the skin will be more sensitive to UV light.
Avoid saunas, steam rooms, or very intense exercise during the first 24 hours to avoid increasing vasodilation.
Avoid wearing makeup for the first 3 days.
Keeping the skin well hydrated helps to enhance the radiance and tightening effect.
